Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust or homemade dough
  • 1 cup cottage cheese small curd, full fat or low fat
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Toppings (customizable):

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup red onions thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup spinach leaves or arugula
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for drizzling
  • Optional: sliced black olives bell peppers, fresh basil

Instructions

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.

Prepare the Crust

  • Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using fresh dough, stretch or roll it out to your desired thickness.

Make the Cottage Cheese Base

  • In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Spread evenly over the crust as your creamy base.

Add Cheese and Toppings

  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over the cottage cheese layer. Add your chosen toppings like cherry tomatoes, red onions, and greens.

Bake

  • Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Finish and Serve

  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Recipe Notes

  • Blend the cottage cheese for a smoother, creamier base.
  • Use any crust you like—traditional, whole wheat, or cauliflower.
  • Stick to 2–3 toppings to avoid sogginess.
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat or swap mozzarella with feta for a tangy twist.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven for best texture.
  • Prep toppings ahead for faster assembly.
