- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 –2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs parsley, chives, or basil, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the minced garlic, fresh herbs, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Prepare the Chicken: Butterfly each chicken breast by slicing horizontally (do not cut all the way through) to create a pocket.
Stuff the Chicken: Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture inside each breast and close/fold them over.
Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the stuffed chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
Bake: Transfer the chicken to a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve: Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving
